It is a small shop, and a lot of things are in drawers behind the counter, so if you see something you like, they most likely with have it in many variations. Towards the left there is a back room with a jeweler often working on his bench right there. So you know what you buy is hand made and one of a kind.

Ennji Store

There are some places that you come across that you either want to immediately tell all your friends about or you want to keep for yourself in order to not overexpose it. This is one of those places.

Right up the road from Porta Genova station, Ennji is a small store easy to walk past, but if you are window browsing, it’s a definite place you would stop into. The store is a small space, but it is packed with things, from fun jewelry to bags to clothes, and so you can browse for a while. Everything is one of a kind, which means that there is only one of each style of clothing, making hundred of options, but if it is not your size, too bad and move on.

The price range is more than reasonable. Sweaters at 45 euro, dresses at 90 euro, leather jackets at 200 euro. All price ranges, but most items are in the 45-90 price range which making shopping so much more fun.

Not much else is better than finding a store with cool one of a kind clothing at prices that you get at mass produced stores like Zara.

So next time you are around Porta Genova, stop by and take a look.

Vanessa Amalia Jewelry


Milano may be a city with high design and high fashion, but so is NYC. Therefore, there is an exception made to feature VanessaAmalia jewelry. She may not be

an Italian designer, and this site is everything Milano, but the internet is virtual, and it makes the two cities one in its own (well… sort of).

Giovanni Scafuro Art/Jewelry

If you haven’t seen the work by Giovanni Scafuro in the stores around Milano, you’ve got to seek them out. Born and trained in Naples, he creates these completely unique and interesting pieces of art and jewelry that make you stop to admire.

His line of jewelry called FORKINPROGRESS are actual forks twisted and formed into rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc and are things you have never seen before. The image shown is actually of a plastic version found at Salvatore + Marie, but some are made in silver and gold as well.

Four stores in Milano, listed below, carry his stuff, so go check them out for yourself. They are fun pieces and almost like conversation starters. Things that would be hard for people Not to comment on.
