Salone de Mobile

This week marks the beginning of Salone de Mobile here in Milan. From April 14-19, Milan’s international furniture and design fair takes over the city. Up at Rho Fiera is where the huge exhibition and large events take place. From the International furnishing and accessories exhibition to the Bathroom exhibition, there is no lack of style up north.

But alongside, there are key exhibitions along the city. Institions that are carying these are: Villa Reale and the Pinacoteca di Brera, the nineteenth century Poldi Pezzoli and Bagatti Valsecchi Historic House Museums, the Planetarium, the Boschi Di Stefano House, and Villa Necchi Campiglio, and of course the contemporary Triennale Bovisa. But if you are looking for small galleries and exhibitions, head to Via Tortona- Milans creative and design focused area. The street will be lined with small exhibitions and packed with people. Go for the ambiance and to see some art that will inspire you.
