As the snow starts in milan, plan a ski trip one weekend. Milan is a great location to many ski resorts- the proximity to Switzerland and France resorts make your options huge. Here in Milan, one of the biggest ski resorts around is Selva Val Gardena in the Dolomites.
Selva Gardena is 1563 meters high and one of the leading resorts in the Alps. And when you ski Val Gardena, you don’t just get one mountain. The towns of Ortisei, S. Cristina and Selva are all within 6km of each other. This means you can ski for an entire weekend without skiing the same trail twice.
The views are breathtaking, the trails are from easy to expert level and no matter who you are and what your ability, you will not be bored. Some trails are so long that you will feel like you are skiing more than you on on the lift (which is what we all aim for). Basically, There is so much to do for everyone- From spas in town to snowboarding parks, and night skiing.
The bars in town are great, the restaurants on the mountain are fun and it’s a must visit place if you like (or sort of like) to ski.
